Jessie Gold is a choreographer and dancer based in New York, New York. She has performed with Biba Bell, Caitlin Cook, Walter Dundervill, and in Simone Forti's Dance Constructions for Judson Dance Theater: The Work Is Never Done at The Museum of Modern Art. From 2016-2019, Gold toured internationally with Maria Hassabi for her theater works and live installations in institutions including the Onassis Cultural Center (Athens), Serralves Foundation (Porto), The Walker Art Center (Minneapolis) and documenta 14 (Kassel).

Gold regularly choreographs performances for artists who present work in museums.  In 2019, she developed choreographic scores to activate the sonic sculptures in Haegue Yang’s installation Handles at the Museum of Modern Art.  Recently, she developed a new work for Paulina Olowska’s installation, Grotesque Alphabet, presented at The Walker Arts Center in 2021 as part of the exhibition The Paradox of Stillness: Art, Object, and Performance.

Her work has been presented by Danspace Project Draftwork Series (New York); Movement Research at Judson Church (New York); Roulette (Brooklyn); Bas Fisher Invitational (Miami); Museum of Contemporary Art (Miami); in collaboration with choreographer Biba Bell at The Maintenance Room (Detroit); at The Lever House (New York) co-presented with Greene Naftali Gallery, The Lever House Collection, and Peter Halley.
